A self portrait

With a project like this there is a lot of planning and preparation needed to get a clean and professional end result. Coming up with an idea was the easy aspect of the project. My story line was different then the final product.  My original plan was to have the drawing of the doll come to life but it was a challenge to create the doll coming out of the painting so the idea became a self portrait. Before I started my project I got the doll and took some test pictures to see if I had the proper space and materials. I tried very hard to minimize the effects of the lights but it was difficult because there was several days of shooting. Another challenge I faced was when making the doll fall. I needed to get pictures of the doll mid fall but with the help of some tape and the stand of the doll I got the pictures I needed. Despite this only being my second time creating a stop motion I obviously have a lot of room for improvement but I am very happy with the result.
